ProfessorHong JunhaofromCommunication of New York State University, Buffalo, USA, came to visit our school and make 3 academic reports during May 22^ndto May 25^th.

In his speech, he mentioned the promoting effect of society development. He also pointed out that the construction of communication discipline plays an important role in the development of communication.

“Communication discipline is changing all the time and that is also a challenge.” Professor Hong summarized the challenge into three aspects: the challenge of theoretical development, the challenge of selecting theme and the challenge of method innovation.

During his three speeches, professor Hong introduced the latest development of communication at home and abroad. Besides, he shared his methods of scholarly research according to his own researching experience.
