On Oct. 22, 2016, Professor Ted Zorn, from Massey University, New Zealand, was invited to come to Hubei University to give a lecture. Vice President of Hubei University Jiang Tao had a cordial meeting with Professor Ted Zorn. Subsequently, Professor Ted Zorn gave an impressive lecture entitled "political Communication: taking Climate change as an example" to explain his research in the field of political communication. The lecture was presided over by Liao Shengwu, Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, and translated by Miss Chen Wei. Professor Ted also answered students’ questions humorously. The atmosphere at the meeting was very warm. Professor Huang Yueqin of the School of Journalism and Communication commented on Professor Ted Zorn's excellent academic speech and thanked Professor Ted on behalf of the faculty and students.
